I've been struggling with my brake problems for a while now..
long story short, bike had been sitting for years when I got it. I took the master off to clean it out (had lots of gunk in it), flushed the lines and had modern rebuild the calipers. Put it all together but can't get it to work properly.
The brakes work great, except when you use them a handful of times they start to stick, to the point where you gotta give it extra throttle to start rolling. I let it sit for a bit and it releases again.
Even though I've bled 2 brake fluid containers through both calipers and the master already, I think there is an air bubble stuck in there somewhere, which expands under heat and puts pressure on the calipers.
My conundrum is that I can't really drive the bike to a proper shop (front brakes sticking, and I haven't even done my MST yet!). And I'm tired of manually bleeding the damn brakes.
As a last resort I'll take it to an auto shop down the street and see if they can pressure bleed the system. However when I called them they seemed afraid to touch a bike (and I also don't like taking things to shops)
Anyway . if anyone has a pressure bleeding kit and is willing to help let me know. Otherwise the bike might have to get cager grease on it.
