What's your opinion of center stands used on the track, around town, off-road, or out touring. Consider bike storage and general maintenance.
Full bike prep for track if I recall involves removing a center stand. Does a center stand on a track bike reduce lean clearance or can it come down under maximum braking or is it just a weight issue?
For around town lets assume the bike is mostly begins and ends the day at home and is used casually.
For off-road assume heading out on a trail for over an hour or into terrain a support vehicle can't get into too easily if a problem occurs.
Touring means you're starting and ending your day in the middle of no-where at odd hours when no one is on the road with consecutive days wearing on the motorcycle.
How often do you use your centerstand if you have it? What's the purpose of a centerstand and is it worth paying for?
