FYI they've finished resurfacing a huge portion of the Stanley Park loop and the pipeline road.
All that treacherous tarmac from Prospect Point to the Tea House that once could only be traversed by an enduro or a jeep with a lift kit is now perfect blacktop that the stiffest sprung sport bike can endure.
The temptation to take that road at literally 5X the speed limit (it's 30kph) is overwhelming with the new surface. Just watch out for tourists, cyclists barreling out of the trails to cross the road and stray animals. And sometimes a lone cop will set up a speed trap at the bottom of the hill just before the Tea House.
