It's hot and proper hydration requires lots more water. It's easy to stop more-often and drink from a container with some ice but what other ingenious solutions would you suggest to keep around a gallon of water cool?
There's an insulated tank or tail bag with a tube but a long tube gets hot, One can wear a hydration pack or water bag in a jacket but I assume insulation = weight and the contents warm up to body temperature quickly. I've seen soft round throw bags that go over a tank or passenger seat that might keep water cool with a thermos or insulation.
Is there anything ingenious you've seen?
Second question: I have heard about a point where it's more comfortable to wear solid material over mesh or squid. Is it true, what are the conditions?
