I am heading down to the MotoGp in Laguna coming up and I don't want to wear my leathers so....
I looked around and found only 2 brands of motorcycle jeans, they are "shift" and "draggin" . I know there are more brands available but at this time of year the selection is way down.
After looking at the two types listed above I found the "shift" brand to be a total joke! The kevlar was flimsy and sparse which did not give me the kind of protection I expected. They also made me look like some sort of hip hop artist that I am not. They are reasonably prices at around $100 but you don't get much protection for the money IMHO.
The Draggin jeans are far superior in the amount, placement and stitching of the kevlar. They also have more of a "normal old school" look to them. They are 2x the price of the "shift" jeans but I feel they have 2x the protection.
After getting Pam's opinions and alternative sugestions (at western power sports in Langlely) I decided the Draggin jeans where for me. Thanks for your input Pam!
