    Richmond road test route

Did a quick search, didn't come up with the answer..

Was wondering if anyone knows the route they take you in Richmond for your road test... Mine's coming up and I wanted to go scout it out. I don't know Richmond at all so I don't want any surprises.

    Thanks

There are obviously more than one route. I really doubt anyone has any of them memorized.

Ride around the nighbourhood and learn where all school/park zones are.
Get familiar with any nearby highway entrances/exits.
    Starbucks poses by me.

"Yamaha" - it's Japanese for "fuck your sports car."

Yeah...there is no single route. However, I spent most of mine near the No.5 and Cambie area.

It depends where you live and if you are a richmond local. When I did my class 5 they didn't even go near my neighborhood which is a prime ICBC test route (I see people all the time) there's 2 schools, park, hospital all within the 2 blocks. Instead I got taken out to the east of richmond.
As for my class 6 I had it in surrey and the route they took wasn't the same as the PRS route. A little thing I did was whenever I was in an area and didn't see a sign posting speed and had to turn/stop sign and I pulled away from the testing vehicle I paid attention to see if they were getting farther. Cause in surrey signs are hidden...

each city has many different routes. don't worry about knowing the route, just be on the lookout for any construction/park zones.

and ask your testing instructor before the test if school zones are in effect (they're not)

    unless they are.

Took my class 6 in Burnaby last week. The route took us past a school with a "summer school in session" tab under the usual sign.

was a couple years ago but i think it was sumthin like this:

    http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&sourc...,0.111151&z=14

started at BC safety council. lots of tricky solid white lines to cross and instafail on this one if i remember right - especially the right at ewan ave and derwant way and the merge from annacis island onto the 91 (u hafta get left quick or u will cross a solid white to avoid goin to new west). so if u have issues with that, it might be good practice. also a big roundabout, one way industrial road.

still, i remember it being longer.

prob just cuz i was shitting a brick at the time.
