Sorry if this is the wrong place to post.
But just got an email from baysideperformance advising that my helmet is not in stock and will not be available until the 20th of august. :|
Although this doesn't seem that bad a bit of the back story might help to let other feel my frustration. I had previously called in and insured that this helmet was in stock as I was ordering from the states. Although they couldn't price match I felt that the customer service was so good that I asked to put an order through, to which they advised they don't do phone orders.
Alright, so I go online process the payment and get excited to get my gear. Then today I find an email saying sorry it's not available. So I call in and speak to someone in the store.
They advise that:
Even though it is listed online it might not be available.
They don't have the capability to monitor what is in stock.
They get lots of complaints regarding this issue everyday.
I should just wait it out or order somewhere else.
So now I have to re-order from the states, pay shipping again, and wait to get my stuff delivered again.
Overall a poor customer service experience, which is unfortunate as I had been signing their praises after the phone conversation, and not a good way to start off with them.
So hopefully I will get my helmet in time to start the classes I was timing all this stuff for.
