Well, I'm hoping some people could help me, I've tried doing some research (your licensing system is really different) but couldn't find as many answers as I'd like so I thought I'd ask in the BC forum, as I've been looking to move to Vancouver by next year.
Basically in Ontario I have my M2 license, which is the 2nd out of 3 stages, how would that license translate over here? Another question, how is the insurance? Here I was quoted $1900 for a 90's NSR 125 2-stroke, and $2175 for a cb350, that is with being 18 years old and having had the motorcycle license for a year (some experienced rate crap) and having completed an MSF course. I've talked to people in BC regarding car insurance and it looks to be cheap as hell compared to Ontario, where a buddy of mine was quoted $275/month, neither of us have any tickets, suspensions or anything on record.
Also, I heard the weather is pretty mild year round, but you guys get pretty wet winters, are they still rideable? I don't mind cold or wind or anything, but do the roads still freeze and get covered in ice? Riding during winter in Toronto really sucks.
One last quick thing, are there any emission laws regarding 2-strokes in BC?
