My question is:
How do I convince my M-I-L that motorcycling isn't a bad thing, in particular when it comes to getting her daughter on the back. It's not like my wife needs her mothers approval or anything, but I'm hoping here for some tips that I can use to dodge/address the safety concerns that crop up when motorcycling and my wife come up in the same sentence.
I bought Deb a lid, and she's got over-ankle boots, and a leather jacket and jeans. We're working on the pants, but we've only been out the once so far, 20 mins around the back roads in south Langley, never above 60km/h. I'm a fairly tame rider, never given her cause to think we're going to rip around town on the back tire or anything....just looking to ease her mind about the safety.
The end goal also includes getting her to watch the kids on occasion so we can go for a ride in the evenings.
Thanks in advance for your help,
