As some of you are probably aware, or have seen my photo gallery, you've seen some mockups of a molson canadian bubba keg paint scheme on a TLR that i've been doing up. Now comes time to contact molson and try and get them to support the project, perhaps pay for the entire thing, and in return i can promote with them or something.
Here is a mockup pic so far that i'd be attaching to the letter,
What I need now is to write a convincing letter to Molson. How about some input or helping me write something. Here is what Jim has done up for me so far.
To whom it may concern,
I currently ride a 1999 Suzuki TL1000-R motorcycle. It's nick name is 'Bubba' as it's slightly large for a sportbike and the V-twin engine makes a sweet “bubububub” sound.
I also play on a hockey team named the BrewDogs (as we enjoy a few cold ones after each game).
I've been considering repainting and decaling the bodywork on Bubba. My first thought was to create a Corona Superbike Replica. I'm a staff member with a large British Columbia based Sportbike Website (http://www.bcsportbikes.com). We have over 1600 members. They got me thinking about a “Bubba” Keg theme. Who needs Corona, after all, I am Canadian! The idea has really grown on me.
First of all, I'd like to ask permission to use a theme resembling the 'Bubba' Keg. I've drafted a rendition of the 'Bubba' theme that I think works well on the motorcycle.
Secondly, I'd like to ask if Molson Canada is interested in sponsoring the project. I am a student and could really use help with the cost and/or supplies involved. I think the project would be a great advertisement for Molson Canada. I interact with 1600 local sportbikes riders, I am also involved with several different enthusiast websites. Photo's of the project would undoubtedly be circulated around many enthusiast websites, providing worldwide exposure in the sportbike community. Due to the rarity of the paint/decal scheme, Bubba would almost definitely be featured in some way on several websites.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
