*** SOLD ***
Race-only, not street-legal but have bills of sale and Canada/U.S-wide lien and registration search from CarProof when I purchased it in early ’09. I can provide a printout of the report or you can view/print it yourself by clicking on the following link:
*If this link doesn't work for you, PM me your e-mail address and I can send it to you that way.
Fully lockwired and prepped for WMRC, race bodywork, Fox shock, Race Tech fork, frame sliders, case covers, steel-braided brake lines, steering damper (added last month), putting in new EBC front brake pads for this weekend, oil & filter change and cooling system flush done just before WMRC races last month, Pirelli SC1s (worn but useable), Yosh header with a stock ’04 GSX-R750 muffler (still have the Yosh muffler that came on the bike).
There’s no instrumentation and it could use a tune up - appears to have a leak in the exhaust header (was that way when I bought it, but no problems out on the track with it); I was planning to get that done in the off-season but thought I’d put it up for sale now for a lower price/obo in case someone’s interested.
It's been crashed. The previous owner, Keith Tudor, had a big highside then rebuilt it and did a bunch of track days. Then I bought it and raced it at Mission in ’09 and ’10. I had one lowside crash (Turn 7) with the only damage being a bent shifter (bent it back into place and raced later that day), scratched frame slider and scrapes on the left side. The bike tracks straight and true with absolutely no stability issues. The left-side bodywork is scratched and has a few small cracks.
Spares include fairing stay, subframe, lower fairing (stock), shifter, sprockets and a few other odds and ends.
It’s far from pretty but it’s been reliable for me (when I remember to put enough gas in… I’ll never live that down!) and a cheap way to try track days and/or racing without blowing the budget. I’ve done low 1:21s at Mission on it and I’m sure it would go faster with a faster rider.
I live across the pond in Sooke, outside of Victoria. I’m selling it to start saving for a newer race bike.
Please reply by PM, and thanks for looking.
