a common problem amongst bikers i'm sure... my old man has a VTX 1800n, cruiser bike but i'm sure the principle is shared amongst sportbikes as well..
here is the scenario.. he has added a couple extra headlights to the bike, and due to the extra voltage load / current draw on the whole system, when the bike is on idle the battery shows significant drop in available charge... once he revs up to normal riding conditions, it goes back to normal...
is there a simple quick fix for this problem, in the form of a relay of sorts to take care of this??
anybody with experience, please chime in.!!!
