Long story short I'm in the market for boots and a buddy has a set of new A* smx plus riding boots he will sell me for really cheap. The downside is they are a size 12 and my foot will actually fit a 10.5 in those boots. There's about an inch and a bit from my toe to the front of the boot but they feel nice because there's a bit of room up there unlike the snug (I know if should be) fit of the 10.5.
So.. is there any real downside to buying a boot too big safety wise? It feels pretty snug in the heal but looser up front. The other option is to buy the model down smx-5 for more quite a bit more money but in my size. But I would really like to use these smx plus boots if I can.
Thanks for the opinions since I'm new to this whole thing.
