Was at Catalunya on the weekend. Weather was perfect. Was on third session of the day coming around last corner before the ridiculosly long straight. Halfway thru turn the front tucked and I lowsided. Slid on the pavement and did the usual keep your arms in. No problem until I hit the gravel. Was informed that when I hit it, I was rolling at more than five feet in the air. I've had about thirty fall offs and never have I gone so fast, or playedthe head toe game. Was smart enough to tuck my knees in as well. Came out a little sore, but unscathed. The track marshal informed me that I was doing almost 145mph when I fell. As for the bike...well it's just a bike and money solves that. The "funny" part was that as I fell I had to stop myself from wanting to get up. I'm glad I didn't because that was the start of my journey. The only solution after that was to hit the beach in Castelldefels with the family and drown my sorrows. Haha. I'll be back in two weeks to Alcañiz. The saddest part is my poor Dianese suit. That gravel kills the suit more than cement.
I need to hear someone elses stupidity, so post up!!!
