There may indeed be the 1000, but the CBR600F is for real as well. It's in Honda press office's release this morning from the EICMA Milan show.

Long Live Shervin Of The North!
Almost spit coffee on my keyboard !
The 2009 model is 478 lb dry, it looks like the same bike too so I doubt there is much of a difference in weight for 2011. Only 123 hp for a bike that heavy, lets hope some torque figures make up for it to give some low-end grunt (I prefer that myself).
I like it myself, but same as my bike and most bikes really, get rid of the stock exhaust.
Hope they make it to Canada.
Will be nice to see that bike on our side of the pond, I like.
Considering what a sad state the motorcycle industry is in these days, there sure seem to be a lot of new models launching this coming year, great stuff!!
Looks a lot like the FZ8 IMO.
"Yamaha" - it's Japanese for "fuck your sports car."

This bike is pretty good fun, it wheelies just fine and handles well. I had a ride on one a few months before I left Aus. Weight didn't seem to be an issue.
The only problem I found is that it is typical Honda, it does everything well enough but there is nothing spectacular about it.
