    Race chain?

Just looking at swapping out for some bling on my bike.

Is a race chain overkill? Thruxton

Looking at a D.I.D 525ERV Gold Racing Chain, deal on for $60

I'm assuming you meant to say race and not rain?

    Overkill is a relative term.

Unless you're going to race, anything that is "race" specific can be considered overkill.

However, you can't really go wrong with getting an ERV chain for $60. Actually getting any D.I.D chain for $60 is a good deal.

That all being said, my rule is, if I want it I get it

It's one of those one off deals, some dude built a triumph for racing, and never got it happened, so all the bits are still in boxes. I'll ask if he's got some more.

    Too many to list
at $60 you should rent a warehouse and buy as many as you can. i'm happy to take 50 to start. typically you're spending over $100 easy for a lower end chain.

A DID 520 conversion race chain is sick. I put a gold over a black sprocket on my r1, looks nuts and it even sounds cool.

Aside from the obvious benefits of having a better chain of course

OK, so this all good, right? I've never equated "sick" and "nuts" to positive things...
