I just noticed that my kitchen range hood looks like something that was pulled out from the BP oil disaster... It is covered with a thick slimey golden black grease. I only noticed it when a thick drop of this shit landed on my fry pan the other day, just when I was about to fry up my morning omelet. yech.
anyways, I've used TSP cleaner and it worked before, but wondering if there are other degreasers that work better than this? With TSP, it takes several washes in extremely hot water to remove this gunk.
I've seen a Home Depot product called Zep degreaser. Wondering if this is any better. TSP in powder form is the cheapest at $2, so of course, being the cheapo bass turd I am, that is my first choice.
