    For money or for safety?

Personally, I hate selling things I've worked hard for.

It is a tough decision and I think only you can decide yourself. I didn't feel I needed to sell it until I first saw my new born baby. I have different focus in my life now so I am selling it. Perhaps one day I will get another bike and at least for now I have to concentrate on sth I think that is more important. Good luck

It's a very personal decision, no advice should sway you one way or the other.

Either you feel the need, or you don't....or perhaps your wife does

FWIW, it's not super uncommon for people to take a break from riding....just not entirely sure what justifies the right time to re-acquaint one's self with the bike again....when kids are 100% self sufficient???

I may not live that long myself, so today, I chose to have the best of both worlds, results will vary, life is short.

my daughter was born on Dec. 2nd, being a Dad is amazing. I'd say the decision is up to you and your family. Personally I have not considered giving up any of my bikes or racing.. it was never really an option and my wife totally understands.. I guess I have it easy as she races too.

I have 2 under the age of 4 and it just made me a better rider. I don't push the boundaries as much as I would have before. My wife loves the bike(especially the newest one) and we get out together when ever we can.

keep it for PM track days to scratch the itch once in a while?
speeds dont go high enough to really get hurt, other than your ego.

Really? If you have to ask you may as well sell it. You were never committed to begin with. Enjoy fatherhood!

I have twin baby girls and I will never sell my bike. Didn't get any pleasure riding (I commute on the bike) done this last season due to time constraints but I sure will be riding the Duffey loop this coming season.
Paying it forward, everyday of the week.

I'll be holding you to that one!!! In fact, I'll demand an escorted tour.
