I travel the Golden Ears Bridge daily... and I have a recommendation for people
If you are travelling south on the bridge, stay in the right hand lane and take the 200th street exit everytime. If you need to go to 176th (or that direction) just make a right on 96th. You can continue on that and reconnect with the road that is the off exit of the bridge for those heading to 176th.
It will take you a few more minutes, but you will ALWAYS avoid the IRSU speedtrap.
Those guys have been setup there at least 20% of the time on my drive home from work. At almost the same time of the day, just fishing over and over.
Do yourself a favor and let the other idiots continue along that 60kph stretch and take the ticket.
Right lane it, get off on 200th, right turn 96th and reconnect. The limit on 96th is 50 but flows at 65 and you only have 1 additional traffic light to deal with, maybe 2.
It's ridiculous those wankers sitting there day after day at the same time. By the end of the week you could have enough points on your licese to lose the damn thing.
I bet I have seen them there at least 50 times in the last year. You pop over a little rise on a 60kph zone, which would flow easily at 90 or 100kph, and wham - lidar, you are finished. No way to exit before you get to them. And at a few thousand feet, it's almost impossible to spot them.
