Took a deposit for my old 92 GSXR last week. I barely recouped the money I invested in her last season alone, but I sold her to a good friend, who wanted an affordable bike to start on. He was a little worried about buying a 750 as a "learner", but I think he'll be fine on her. He's a smart guy, uses common sense, and has mechanical understanding and respect for his machines. Plus he's going through PRS in the spring.
I owned that bike for 4 seasons, put almost 100k km on her, had many great adventures, a couple of great(and not so great) misadventures, and will miss her greatly. Least she's staying close to home, and I'll hopefully get the odd chance to fire her up and throw a leg over.
