So it's been over 7 years since I went to motorcycle school at the BC Safety council. This means I'm not really all that familliar with the current crop of instructors and schools. I took the girlfriend to the motorcycle show and she wants to join me for some street riding this summer in preparation for a North to South America ride in summer 2012.
Action motorcycle school is offering a $100 off of their instruction for the duration of the bike show, while PRS is selling at full price but does look to be well organized from what I could see in their booth, a more expensive and professional setup.
I'm not looking to skimp on training for her, so it comes down to a question of whether the training at Action is equivalent to that of the training at PRS. I understand that both are government regulated and both offer 30 hours total instruction so the question comes down to quality and value.
I'm guessing nobody has done both but considering I have done neither and this board tends to have a bias toward PRS I wanted to know why and is it worth the extra $100.
Also gear is not an issue as she is already outfitted.
