The luxury vehicle had reportedly been stolen by the man behind the wheel, who works as a valet at a nearby hotel.
Surete du Quebec Sgt. Genevieve Bruneau would not confirm that information, but said the provincial police force is "not denying it either".
The driver pulled over on eastbound Highway 720 shortly before the entrance to Montreal's Ville Marie Tunnel, she said, adding there was no police chase involved.
The man's joyride earned him a $2,598 ticket and 42 demerit points, Bruneau added.
Thing is, in Quebec you have to get 200 demerit points before they pull your licence. Why do you think so many fast drivers/riders come from Quebec?
