They were doing the same thing in Burnaby last week.
The hobo had jeans, sneakers, a red toque, unshaven, but he was wearing his "Police" lime green high-vis vest, still peeps were talking on the phone looking at him.

Here in Australia they are trying to make it illegal to use your phone at all in the car, no matter if it hands free.

I'm glad to hear they are getting more serious in putting a stop to this. Australia has the right idea, no hands free either. Brain free is the answer.

I know there are people out there that are capable of driving, juggling oranges while getting road head and brushing their teeth simultaneously, but they are the remote exception.

The other 97% of people have to take driving much more serious.

well, it is still legal to drive while juggling oranges, getting road head, looking for a CD, shaving/applying make up and preparing your morning bowl of cereal.

All at the same time, too

So am I correct to assume you never take your eyes off the road, let your mind wonder for any reason whatsoever, and always have your hands at 9-3/10-2 position?

You can always tell them you were calling to report a hobo that looked like he was drunk and heading into traffic.

what would be truly amazing is if they started giving out tickets for not using turn signals.

Aren't they up to a little over 40,000 tickets so far? That's $6,680,000 so far!

I'm guessing that the provincial government will put that to good use ...... that's about how much defence spent on the Basi-Virk trial.
The difference between you and me .........
