Not interested. Do you have any idea how hard it would be to buy a headlight bulb for that?

i wouldn't be surprised to see seven figures for it. mike hailwood's gp winning 6 cylinder 350cc bike,
a masterpiece even by modern standards. 66hp at 17000 rpm out of a 350, amazing technology for the early/mid sixties.this bike is the genisis of the modern crotchrocket. what ever money it garners at the auction' its a bargain. wish i had the coin for it, if i did it would be in glass case with a paticular ajs 7r in my bedroom.

Actually, it's 297cc, but ran in the 350 class,,,,and won.

No, I don't think Honda wants to bring back the 2-stroke.

Did I mention the Bathing Suit Bike recently changed hands at 1.1M - and it only had 2 cylinders

Yes, i know all about Rollie Free's bike. Taking nothing away from that machine. One could agrue though that that machine's following to cult status was as much about Rollie in his bathing suit out on the salt than his Vincent.
The Honda has true racing pedigree, unimaginable engineering [even today, metalurgists are not sure what type of alloy Mr. Honda used in the engine], legendary riders, it's got it all. Alas, as it will be more attractive to non-U.S. buyers, with less deep pockets than the average deep pocketed American high roller, the RF Vincent may indeed retain #1. We shall see.
