I went to get dog food today and from the last time I bought it to today the price went up from $29.00 to $42.00. The other stuff ,Nutro I used to pay $12.00 for is now $91.00. I stopped buying it when it hit $55.00.
Now we go to Safeway, and a box of frozen 6" pizzas are now $27.00. I used to pay $12.00 for the exact thing.
And in the mail I am getting letters saying that due to the price of fuel there is now a 10% additional charge for all my deliveries.
Then the other day I put $100,00 of diesel in my truck and that only gave me 1/2 a tank.
I am sure most of you havent got a 50% cost of living allowance but yet they still are raising prices. But not wages.
The folks at the stores are saying "due to the war, earthquake, and anything else" is the reason for increases.
I figure at the way prices are going things are gonna get real expensive for alot of us.
These FEW things are just within this year and as recent as a few weeks ago.
Funny thing is I just sold my scooter to a guy that bought it cause he could no longer afford a car. I remember how frustrated he was that he needed to start giving up many things and his car was his freedom.
What do you do now to make ends meet?
