My motorcycle was knocked over at Superstore the one in Richmond. I left my bike in fist gear and parked in the middle of the stall to quickly run in and grab an item. I come back and someone left a note and a phone number stating that he knocked over my bike by accident and left me their phone number. So naturally, I gave the person a call and stated that I'm very unsatisfied of what he did to my vehicle and that I'd like to meet up with him and exchange insurance information.
I met up with the guy and we did that so. So I went through ICBC and followed through.. I got the thumbs up from the estimator to go ahead with the labour and the aftermarket parts. Here is my situation ICBC is having me pay my $500 deductable at the dealership. Because the guy claimed he knocked over my motorbike with a shopping cart. when I met up with the guy he has a white car and I see black rubber marks on his front corner panel. I told ICBC about it and told them that the guy's car has markings of my tire and that it takes more than a cart to knock over my motorbike in first gear and have it fall on kick stand side.
I told them it's fraud for the other guy to use a shopping cart as an excuse and for that guy to claim he didn't knock over my bike with a car, on a flat surfaced pavement parking lot.
Appearantly, ICBC sent them the bill already. but no word from the guy?? According to the ICBC representative person. I was told worst case senario I might not get my deductable back. It's $500 I paid so I can have my bike back from the dealer. Now question is, "How do I go abouts getting my reimbursement money back ??" I think ICBC is only charging him for the labour and parts used to fix my bike?---------HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-----------
