OK, it isn't a sportbike so sue me.
This is my new ride, a HD Superglide Custom. It has more chrome on it than all bikes I have ever owned combined, weighs eleventy billion tons, and has turn signals and fenders made out of metal.
Over the past few seasons I haven't had a proper longhaul pavement bike, so this season I decided to get back into it. And to try something new. So far I'm quite liking it.
It's not fast, and doesn't qualify as badass at all. Quite delicate actually, I can't ride it off pavement except maybe on wide flat gravel areas. It's more like a pretty woman dressed up in chiffon.
The brakes are passable but I'm getting used to them. Basically I brake way earlier than anything else I've ever ridden. I've made some minor supension tweaks as Harleys leave so much to be desired in the handling department.
Let me know what you think. And all you Harley-haters, feel free to bring it on, this is after all BCSB .
