Must be quite devasting for his family and people he knows. Having that kind of talent especially playing a musical instrument with a symphony...it takes practice & practice & more practice. It says a lot about a persons perseverance and ability to learn. To lose everything in an instant of what was reported and perceived as bad judgement/choices is nothing more than some freaky twist of tragic.
The study they did showed that more riders died or were injured on the roads after coming home, than did on the battlefield. Top Gun syndrome of invincibility?
