Today a buddy of mine and I were riding along the Mary HIll bypass heading towards the Pitt River bridge. We were doing about 120 (very little traffic) until the foot traffic overpass. Up ahead we notice traffic starting to bunch up so we slow down to about 90. Around the corner are a couple of cop cars with officers out in the middle of the road. I had been in the lead position the whole time and am thinking that I'm screwed. I pull up and the cop waves me through. My buddy isn't so lucky. She pulls him over and hits him with an excessive speeding ticket. (limit was 70). There was no radar gun anywhere along the road or on the overpass. So my friend ends up with a $345 ticket and I go scott free. How does that work?
Edit: I had to correct the spelling of the topic, it was just bugging me, sorry. Thanks!
