Border crossing/ID question....
So I'm pretty stoked that I got my full class 6 licence today!
Problem is that they took my old photo licence and issued me my interm paper licence. I now don't have any photo ID other than my current passport.
On the long weekend we are heading to Seattle for some R&R and I'm not sure if I need a supporting photo ID for the border crossing. Looked on the .gov website but keep getting led astray...
Anyone know if just a current passport and NON-photo government ID (birth certificate, Care card, social insurance card, etc..etc..) will get me across the border...and back again of course...
Photo ID required in one of these documents:
Enhanced Drivers licence
US passport card
and a few more...
Your regular dirver's licence is not good to enter the USA.

All you need for your trip is a passport.
Not wearing pants.
Are you asking if you need supporting photo ID - in addition to a valid passport - to cross the border...? I'm assuming you've never travelled outside Canada before...
Yes that was what I was asking... and yes, I have travelled outside of Canada.

Good to know only a passport is needed...
