IMS is a great place to get service
Dude....I just had a great experience and I have to share it so that other Ducati and motorcycle owners are aware.
I have owned 5 bikes in the past 10 years. Ducati 's are probably the most expensive to maintain. Recently my bike was due for a 10,000 km servicing so I shopped around to get quotes from Ducati dealerships...
Imperial Motorsports in Burnaby just finished servicing my Ducati. I was quoted DOUBLE the cost by Ducati in Vancouver, Victoria, Seattle and Calgary. *Imperial is not a Ducati shop but works on most major manufacturers.
I strongly urge you to check out Imperial Motorsports if your bike needs service. Ted is a great guy to deal with.
Do me a favor and reference "Brown-Andy" if you call or email them for a quote.
Message me if you have questions about what I had done to my bike
Sorry.....who in Victoria quoted you to service a Ducati?? There isn't a dealer around here.
Probably Savage, they are in the final stages of getting set up as a dealer. Just make sure they have a harmonic tool for tensioning the belts, a scan tool for checking the codes and monitoring the sensors, and resetting the TPS if it is out. Also make sure they are quoting on and using full synthetic oil. The 10000 Km service should be between 400and 500 for labour alone depending on the hourly rate. If it is less then where are the corners being cut?
