Shity deal, I hope for a speedy recovery for this rider and his passenger. (let the BCSB accident critics begin)

Wow. We were planning to ride through that way yesterday, but decided to go to Cultus instead. Speedy recovery to the rider and passenger!

Tis the season. I've even got time blocked this week for ICBC claims that will be coming in the door. Never fails, long weekend of good weather, good for a few thousand bucks at least.

Hope those two recover just fine, shitty way to start your riding season.

Drove through shortly after the accident. Someone posted in another thread that there was a fatality - glad to see this was incorrect!

"Neighbours that were there came out and actually had heavy equipment jacks, which they used to jack the vehicle up, and got the weight off the driver of the motorcycle."

Not everyday that someone has that equipment handy. Hopefully it helped minimize injuries or at least reduce the pain.
