3 of my buddies crashed their bike this month. two of them happened right before my eyes. I will admit i am a little shaken up. Luckily, all three of them got out of it with minimal damages. They were wearing full gear (thank god..). It happened in three different situations and no they were not stunting, no they were not speeding (maybe a little bit) , yes they took riding school and no they are not dumbasses. it was simply a small mistake that caused the accident ( i will not explain). I have never seen an accident in real life before, and watching them happen right before my eyes within such a short period of time really got me thinking. It is a simple question that many of you probably ask yourself everyday. Should i still be riding? It may be clear for people who have never seen or gotten into a bike accident before to say: if you fear, dont ride; or I am not afraid of crashing; or I am not an idiot. I am not here to discuss whether my friends are stupid riders or not ( they are definitely not) but to ask those who have seen their buddies flew in the air slam on the ground in milliseconds you weren't even able to process how you feel about it, have you considered leaving the bike scene, if not why not?
