Hey guys, I'm quite the noobie with bikes I just got my license last month and I'm very eager to start riding this season, but I started having problems with my bike.
I have a 1985 kawasaki gpz 600r. Just recently when I had started my bike, it would idle fine but I could not accelerate. If I tried it would die. I was lucky as last weekend I was driving from Surrey to Vancouver to my friends place when about two blocks away it made that "putt putt" sound and die out on me. I had to wait about 15 minutes for it to start up again but I could only get to my friends place having the choke on. I filled it up with gas, fires up/idles fine but can't turn the throttle.
I've cleaned the carbs, fuel line isn't being pinched, spark plugs have been changed.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
