Hypothetical of course!
most of you probably know the insurance brackets, sub 400cc is ultra cheap, then there is another large bump up past 750cc, and another at 1150cc. Lets say, hypothetically someone was looking into getting a DRZ400sm, and hopping it up(which could possibly include a 440 kit), but isnt too interested in having their cheap commuter bike suddenly double in liability insurance.
would they ever check your bore and stroke in the case of a claim? I assume, unless you buy a new top end with the new displacement stamped on it, it would be the only way to tell, if they even wanted to.
another guy i know was considering a bigbore kit for his vfr750, same story.
