Well, it was only a matter of time. Happened in Langley on the #10. Part of my own stupidity, plus gravel(?). Was doing about 90km/h and then decided I wanted to hang a right at the overpass to go under it...a last second decision.
I locked up the rear, which I thought weird because I always use the front for hard breaking. I started skidding, then I remember going into a wobble and then I went sliding into the gravel. Looking back at the incident (still a little shook up), I'm starting to think the gravel wasn't a factor until I was down.
Anyways, I was taking a right turn, but my left side was went down on the pavement after the wobble...not sure if that is high side, low side. I didn't go airborne, hell maybe I did. Not too sure.
I slid into the meridian head-first. Thank god I was wearing a helmet. Don't want to think what it would have been like without proper gear.
Cute girl stopped to see if I was ok
Ride safe everyone. ATGATT!
Shit, I'm gonna have a sore neck tomorrow.
