I did a search but didnt quite get the anwser to the question I was looking for. I understand that cut frame sliders are better then non-cut ones but what I am trying to gather figgure out is if the non-cut ones would be fine for a street bike that wouldnt be hitting the race track. Mainly only looking to protect my fairings (yes I understand that a frame slider is ment to protect the frame but if it can help protect the fairing as well thats great) against dropping the motorcycle and god forbid a low speed crash.
I am currently looking at the Motivation non-cut sliders. I hear some god things about them, mainly that they are the best non-cut sliders out there. Any thoughts on these sliders? Would these be least likley to cause damage to the engine mounting?
I also noticed that some no-cut sliders do not need a offset adapter. I would assume they are not as good as cut sliders but I would assume they are better then the non-cut? I am specificaly looking at the Rizoma Frame Slider for the R6. Anyone have any experiance with this slider or slides like this?
