I was discussing entry speed and what rpm we should enter with a friend. He's only been riding since last year, but anyways, what's a proper rpm to enter corners? I assume it depends on the bike.
Keep in mind, I'm on the 250. When I set my corner speed, I tend to be in a lower gear and enter at high RPM, around 9k. Should I not do this? I figured, throttle will be open so there's not a lot of engine braking and the front won't be loaded too much, but if I ever need to 'brake' to slow down, I can just close the throttle a little instead of braking. Maybe I should just slow down at entry all together?
Or would it be better to enter at high gear and low rpm so the front won't be loaded too much?
