FS: 1992 EX500 blue, white, pink (needs TLC)
1992 Kawasaki EX-500 46,000 kms
This bike is one smooth ride, shifts really smooth like butter... unfortunately we haven't ridden it or started it up for 4 years straight... It will turn over, but won't fire up.
Any experienced mechanics who know how to give some TLC to an old bike, or someone doesn't mind fixing it up, or a newbie looking for a cheap bike to fix up and use,
Please take it off my hands.
The bike has a new battery, but obviously that is not the issue,
*The bike has one cracked OEM turn signal on its left side from a minor stand still drop, but those can be replaced very easily with $10-$20 flushmounts.
*Bike has been lowered by the previous owner
*some chips in the paint here and there, but hey the bikes been around since I was in Elementary school!
Give me your best offer! You will need a truck to pick it up, or get a dealership to pick it up for you!
I got an estimate from Burnaby Kawasaki and they said from the sounds of it, a repair would cost around $900 including parts and labour.
I have the vin number available if you want to check its history.
Looks like this, pearl white, deep blue paint, pink stripe with white wheels and painted full fairings.
If you can get this bike working again, it rides like a dream.
PM me with your questions and offers.
Asking $1300 OBO
