Aight, here's what I got. A friend of mine (not very technically inclined) got a Early 90's Ninja 500 (for free) that sat in a garage for about 9 years. With fuel in it. Me being a nice guy (and technically inclined) have decided to help out in reviving it.
Besides the obvious of oil, battery and tire change I know that the Carbs need to be cleaned.
So, I got the service manual and we got the tools.
Now, I know that the carbs need to be taken off and cleaned, the gas and fuel lines also need to be cleaned, so this brings me to two questions:
1) What can I use to clean out the gas tank, fuel lines and the carbs
2) What else am I missing besides, oil, tires, battery, carb and fuel system cleaning, and lubing the chain?
P.S. Gaskets are an obvious one, so I'm not even mentioning them.
