Alright im writing here to just let you guys know what happen to me today and also how holeshot's customer service experience is!!!!
OKAY !! Perfect saturday morning!
Got on my bike and ride down to holeshot for my 9:30 AM appointment.
Arrived 10min early and go up to the service department desk~
I quickly talk to the advisor and explained about my issues with the bike!
My concern with the bike: 2009 cbr600rr bone stock! (still underwarranty)
1/ big rattle noise from front windshield area when rev passed 4000rpm
2/ juddering/ loose steering.
He then wrote down every detail in the computer system and starts talking to me like how im an idiot who is imagining problems on my bike.
I listened to him for about 10minutes and told him just "let the technician look at it."
so he pulls bike bike in behind the shop and parks it there.
30 minutes passed by my bike still sitting in the same spot!
I went up to sales to look it some other bikes.
another hour or so passed by (11:00AM) my bike was still in the same spot.
so I lost my patient and asked the advisor what the hell is going on???
my appt was at 9:30 am give or take 30min for bike to get looked at!!
He just told me that "usually people dont wait around" they drop it off and pick up at closing..
but do all the people wait around?????
so I got pissed off and called buddy of mine to pick me up!
came home relaxing on the bed wondering how my bike is doing!!!!
Alomost 4:00PM still no phone calls from holeshot.. they close in an hour!
so I gave them a call.!!
They told me bike is all ready and i started asking questions about the bike.
Advisor pretty much says technician looked at the bike but couldnt figure it out!!!
It pissed me right off and I went down there right after.
when I got there my bike was still in the back same spot where it was left in the morning!
I started asking questions again!
advisor started explaining what technician looked at about my concerns,
1/for the rattle noise from front windscreen!
" technician did hear the rattle and seems to go away when he puts his hand on top of the windshield. but unable to pinpoint out where the rattle is coming from. in order to pinpoint out whole front end has to be disassembled to verify source."
2/ for juddering/loose steering
"technician was unable to verify problem however when braking, felt slight judder in slow speed." he suspects front rotors warped ?????," then in the shop he spun the front tire noticed front pads slightly catching on the rotor!!!!
So whole day they had the bike but nothing was solved.
Whatever!!!! still nice out I just wanted to take the bike and go riding!!!
Advisor comes to me with the paper and saying that its $148.00 for the diagosis!
I was like what the fuckkkkkk
then i started asking more technical questions!
did you guys actually verify if the front rotors are warped using dial gauge??
why isnt this issue under warranty if my bike is still covered?????
Response from them was well "we dont have the equipment to check for runout they have to send it to machineshop!! your issues are normal wear item so we cant call HONDA for warranty information!!!
The part that I was pissed off about is that they suspect that my rotors warped so its causing the problem. Why am I paying them1.3 hours($148.00) of diagnosis time when they dont give me a answer!! Am i paying for the educated Guesss??????
Also rattle noise if they have to remove what ever shit they have to find why dont they do it?? its still cover under warranty isnt it !!
They make it sound like I created problem@@@
I was thinking If this is shop doesnt even have a dial guage set to check for brake warpage. what kind of dealer approved facility is this??
Just nice big building with the guys wearing red honda/logo shirts walking around?????
I just wanted to get the hell outta there so i gave him the money and took my bike out side the waiting area.
Im letting it idle and inspecting the bike..
there is hand prints all over the plastic and grease marks on my seat.
Not even a simple wash after service?/
Has my bike even gone inside the repair shop to be inspected or they just started testing stuff out the parking????
I am not happy with this place.!
Im going to Call Honda Canada customer service and question about there technical abilities
I dont want this same shit happening with other riders too!!!
