Well I was getting ready to insure the bike and bought some new oil and a filter and was changing it tonight when the worst and stupidest thing happened. I thought just to make things easier and save myself the wrenching on the drain plug, I would use a 3 foot long socket wrench unstead. Seeing as with that you hardly have to use any effort I started twisting away on the drain plug and stupid me I was tightening it even more. I corrected my mistake after a turn and a half of the plug but I think its too late. I pulled the steel plug out and out came some aluminium thread from my oil pan I can still tighten the bolt on and it can get almost snug so that you cant really move it with your fingers but with the regular socket wrench it does not feel to tight. I am so Fu%&ing pissed right now its unbelieveable. I fear my only option is to tap the hole to fit a bigger drain plug or buy a new oil pan, $h!t just when I was getting ready to insure tomorrow.
Any suggestions or encouragement would be greatly appreciated
