Hey all - as I know many regulars hereon ride the Baker road fairly often, I wanted to mention that there is a superb little coffee shop/bakery set up in Glacier called the "Wake 'n Bake".
It's just off the main road in behind the big, newer ski shop on the left side of the road as your heading toward the mntn, and they've now got a bunch of picnic tables and lawn chairs outside on which to relax while you 'chill' with your java.
the guy and gal who own the place (it's a home/busniess arrangement, the shop sharing a separate floor space in the same building as their residence) told me, upon my inquiring, that 'Graham's" restaurant across the street there has re-opened under new ownership (I had dinner and a beer here on their last day of operation last spring after a fabulous ski-touring day) and they suggested it's even better (food) than it was before - and it was excellent before!
great atmosphere in both places, Grahams is a turn-of-the-centurey building with a giant wood-burning stove that functions in the saloon.
Check them out, if timing works on your ride one day ...
