Like they needed a survey to figure that out???Along B.C.'s section of the Trans-Canada Highway (known as Highway 1 in parts of the province) is a 1,039 km stretch that traces some of the nation's most beautiful scenery. Fortunately for drivers in the Lower Mainland around Vancouver, they get a nice, long look. Highway 1 is certainly British Columbia's most congested roadway, carrying more than 140,000 cars per day near the Sprott St. overpass. On a recent look at AM 730's traffic updates for the log-jammed highway, phrases like "closed," "major construction" and "blocked both ways" littered the rundown.
