In the wee hours of the morning (3:45am), the sound of a flat deck (Payless Towing of Squamish contracted by BCAA) rolled into my street with me as the passenger. It was a lovely ride in the tow truck coming back from Whistler through the S2S with virtually no traffic nor enforcement. Before arriving in Whistler I had another awesome ride in the flatbed of 'Me Too Towing of Lillooet contracted by BMW Roadside service'. The Duffey was windy, dark, no traffic ,no enforcements, and rolling awesomely at 50kmp and sometimes with engine brakes on the turns. There was no cell reception in Lillooet and I spent an hour on the phone with both BCAA and BMW Road Side to come get my broken bike about 30kms south of Lillooet. I got a nice ride back into Lillooet from a very nice lady, whom might take up riding when her baby grows up, with her cute 15 month old daughter whom just came off the ferry from the island. At about 6:30pm after a 750kms ride and few awesome corners 30kms south of Lillooet, my front sprocket sheered through the cover and flew into the woods.
Before all these exciting events that started from outside Lillooet my day ride logged 750kms and just the typical twisty hunting through roads of Manning-Green Mountain Road-Kelowna-Merritt-Spences Bridge-Lytton-Lillooet.
I think I'm bikeLESS for a while!
