Look's like I just wore through my first tire on my SV650. The current setup is a Michelin PP 2ct up front, and the standard PP on the rear. I'm down to the wear bars on the rear and I will be looking for a replacement.
I like to ride aggressively when I do end up going out. I don't get a ton of time to ride (10k in about 3 years), but every ride is looking for corners, no commuting on this bike.
What do you guys suggest I do when replacing my tire? The front still has a ton of tread, partly due to front wearing less, secondly due to the dual compound.
1) PP2ct on the rear to match the front
2) PP on the rear, will probably wear out when the front does.
3) Something new in the rear (or all around?)
I love the Pilot Powers. The are incredibly predictable, and totally controllable for the few instances the bike did slide out on me. But I am thinking for general riding, maybe they are too much tire, maybe I can get something with a little more life?
