    Two person Motorcycle Tent

I just came across this, I thought it was quite cool. It's a tent designed to store your motorcycle inside with you while you are out camping on long riding trips. To keep it safe from the elements and prying eyes.

You're clearly new to this. Versions of those have been on display at the bike shows for at least a couple years now!

Thats a horrible design . 13lbs is heavy . Plus I don't want to smell gas fumes all night . $450 is expensive

You can get way better tents that are only 2 to 4 lbs , easier to set up also . If your worried about the bike all you need is an Alarmed disc lock and or a thin piece of rope tied from your ankle to the bike outside . put a metal valve cap between the lever and piston , pull a spark plug cap, pull the fuse on the injectors or the main ... lots of cheap easy no steal options

It works real well. No one thinks of it and it wakes you up right quick . Old school trick

not really a problem in most campgrounds....

It is a quirky thing, as someone who camps with the bike a lot, I see absolutely no advantage to having this. My bike cover fits into a bag the size of a book and weighs a few ounces if I want to protect it from the elements or lookers, my current tent is bigger than this put up, smaller than that folded down and weighs a few pounds, not 13....

Seen this tent before and will likely get one sometime next year. For me, the value is having a ROOF over the bike so that I can do minor maintenance on long trips in dry conditions, and not soaking under the rain.

Greg but then you need to camp under tree's or poles to keep the tarp up. this tent can literally go on flat ground and offer some stand up shelter. I see a few guys don't like the idea, but I thought it was neat and serves it's purpose. and it's expensive but so is everything else i want.

That tarp will do you little good if you don't have trees to tie it to.

Now that I think about it.... that could be useful. But yeah, 13 LBS is serious weight.
