There is no where to hide

A bank in Richmond city centre is becoming a bit of a hit for all the wrong reasons.
Twice inside two weeks, the RBC branch at No. 3 and Cook roads has been subjected to drivers hitting the gas instead of the brake.
Both times, drivers in the parking lot outside the branch accelerating through a ground floor window of the bank.
The first time resulted in no injuries for the driver or bank staff or customers, mainly due to the fact the car in question encroached just a couple of feet into the premises.
But on Friday lunchtime, the driver of a Mercedes careened half a car length into the RBC, injuring two people inside the branch.
Police say the injured people were taken to hospital with “non life-threatening injuries” and were released shortly afterward.
Apparently, the driver in question hit the gas instead of the brake when trying to park the car.
Other than another case of bad driving, there’s not thought to be any other underlying reason for the same business being involved in the same incident twice in less than two weeks.
The driver received a violation ticket for careless driving.
