Thought I'd put something motorcycle related up for a change...
This was our trip to Alaska this summer. 8600km over 17 days from Victoria to Alaska with a couple of friends. Me on a DR650, my sister and husband on a VStrom 1000, and another friend on a KTM 640 who we met up with at the Liiard hot springs.
Heading up the Duffy
This was likely ill-advised in retrospect.
Race against weather... A tire change in the parking lot of Crappy Tire with mcgyvered stand.
The turnoff to the Stewart-Cassiar highway.
Saw about 14 of these before noon that day. What an amazing stretch of road. Beautiful pavement and perfect corners with no traffic for miles and miles.
This might have been one of the last years to really enjoy the stewart. Power is going up next year and big mining operations are starting up. Going to be a heck of a lot busier soon.
Youkon do it!
This was one of our staples for breakfast. Primal Goo!! That + coffee will clear out your bowels like 1 second plumber. Tasty though!
