Pretty cool story. And nowadays people need AdvRider in order to get to Utah! Some great photos
and a great back story. And to think that less than a decade earlier everyone was trying to kill
Too many people are scared to make a trip anywhere without researching it to death.
There was a company up north that used a pair of Bristol Freighters to fly ore out of
the Johnny Mountain mine. They had been ferried from overseas to Northern BC to do the job.
Once the props timed out, both aircraft were retired to museums and replaced by DC-3's. A
good friend lost his life in one when his co-pilot turned into a dead engine up if I recall the
circumstances of the crash correctly.

Nice.... oh to be in a time when one part of the world was truly unknown to another part of the world.... And on a SS100....
